The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) is Greece’s largest public university, with over 74,000 students enrolled in undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs. The main campus in Thessaloniki spans 33.4 hectares and consists of 10 faculties, which include 41 schools, and 289 laboratories. The university collaborates with other institutions and industries and participates in numerous national and international research projects. The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (SECE) represents AUTH in this project. SECE is equiped with an 4m×4m×8m anechoic chamber suitable for antenna, PCB, and EMC measurements, high-end facilities for PCB fabrication, and a wide range of instrumentation, such as network analysers, spectrum analysers, RF generators, antennas, and amplifiers. Among them, a Rohde & Schwarz FSV40 10Hz-40GHz Signal/Spectrum Analyser (with mixers available for measurements up to 110GHz), and an Anritsu 37397D 40MHz-65GHz Vector Network Analyzer are available, enabling the design and experimental characterization of microwave and millimetre wave circuits and antennas for most state-of-the-art applications of wireless communications. AUTH is the coordinator of the 6G-ICARUS project.

ACCELIGENCE focuses on the design, development and system integration – verification of custom-made robotic solutions, with a particular focus on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs).

ACCELIGENCE is building from scratch its own UAV prototypes, of varying technical requirements tailored to different applications and sectors’ needs.

ACCELIGENCE is emphasizing on innovation and research excellence. The company is currently running 15 European Research and Research and Innovation projects, of both H2020 and Horizon Europe funding programmes, of a total funding of around 4.5MEuros. Besides its technical role, the company has also experience in Dissemination & Communication activities, serving as D&C Manager is several projects, but also in managing such type of projects, as is currently the project coordinator of CHAMELEON project (GA: 101060529).
