Scientific Objectives (SObj)
- SObj1: Propose novel approaches for designing and controlling RISs using ML/DL, to achieve accurate, efficient, and low-cost operation in the mmWave and subTHz bands.
- SObj2: Develop and evaluate channel models for innovative 6G applications involving terrestrial and aerial vehicular communications in smart city environments.
- SObj3: Develop and evaluate MCon solutions that overcome the limitations of the current MCon standards and improve QoS of 6G mobile communications.
- SObj4: Establish the viability and efficacy of the proposed innovative methods by conducting Proof of Concept (PoC) studies, and foster implementation through experimentation and prototype development.
Technological and Industrial Objectives (TIObj)
- TIObj1: Improve intelligence, coverage, capacity, security, and reduce latency through the use of new hardware (HW) and software (SW) solutions for FWNs.
- TIObj2: Create a long-term collaborative network between academia and industry, for innovative and entrepreneurially oriented research on mmWave/subTHz communications with expertise in AI-controlled RISs, channel modelling, smart city IoT, MCon, RATs, resource allocation, and ML/DL.
- TIObj3: Increase the impact on standardisation through training and dissemination of the project results.
- TIObj4: Create opportunities for participation of early career researchers (ECRs), women, students from inclusive target countries (ITC), and research teams from underrepresented countries or regions.
